How to Get a Grant

Instructions

To complete the application, you will need to fill in and save all of the sections. Once you have completed all of the sections you may then submit your application.

Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to edit your application, so please make sure that all of the information that you provide is correct before submitting the form.

As well as completing the online application forms you will also need to upload the required documentation online - see below.

 

You may complete your application in either English or French.

 

Your deadline for submitting the online application and the required documents is:

15th May 2025

For your application to be processed before the beginning of the next academic year, we will need to receive your application as soon as possible.

Important Reminders

  • Your application must be fully completed and submitted within the deadline to be processed.
     

  • Applications that have missing information and/or missing documents will be considered incomplete and hence will not be evaluated.
     

  • House visits may be scheduled to further assess your financial needs.
     

  • DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINE TO APPLY. Filling the application and preparing all the required documents may take around a week.

Required Documents

  1. Applicant’s recent photograph (passport size).
     

  2. Transcript of grades for the last three years.
     

  3. Family Civil Status Record (issued within the previous 3 months).
     

  4. Employment:
     

    • If Employed by the Government, an Official Income Certificate “إفادة راتب”.

    • If Employed by the Private SectorForm “A” duly completed, stamped and signed by the employer of each earning family member.
       

    • If Self-EmployedForm “B” duly completed and signed, including business bank statement of account (for the last 6 months).
       

    • If Retired from the Government, a Recent Retirement Salary Certificate “إفادة راتب تقاعد” from the Ministry of Finance.

    • If Retired from the Private Sector, a photocopy of an official document of indemnity “تعويض” received from NSSF “الضمان الإجتماعي”.

    • If Unemployed or Self-Employed, a recent NSSF Certificate of Service “إفادة خدمة”.
       

  5. Letter of Admission for students applying to universities abroad.
     

  6. Recommendation letter from a professor.
     

  7. Any additional document that would support your application.

> FINANCES

The Foundation has been funded through contributions by Mr Alexis Habib and his family. No active fundraising from outside contributors is expected.
