Alexis Habib is a founding principal and CEO of Spinnaker Capital Limited. He chairs the Global Investment Committee and oversees the management of the Spinnaker Global Emerging Markets Fund.

Before co-founding Spinnaker Capital, he played a pivotal role in the development of emerging markets trading. In 1991, he co-founded the Emerging Markets division at Crédit Agricole Indosuez (CAI), where he served as Managing Director, overseeing all trading activities until 1999. Prior to that, he was the head trader for Emerging Markets within the investment banking division of Citibank in New York.

Beyond his professional career, Mr. Habib is deeply engaged in academia and philanthropy. He is a board member of INSEAD and chairs its Endowment Investment Committee. He also serves on the board of Balamand University, where he chairs the Investment Management Committee. Additionally, he has been involved with several other boards and advisory committees, including the Emerging Markets Trade Association, the Center for International Studies at MIT, and Endeavor Lebanon.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Sorbonne University, Paris, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Dr. Habib earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) in Beirut and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She completed a Fellowship in Nephrology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from Imperial College London. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in London.

In addition to her medical career, Dr. Habib is a board member of Fondation USJ, supporting the mission of her alma mater.

​

She currently serves as a Consultant Nephrologist at Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes, France.

Farid Habib is a Director in the Industrials and Mining sector at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in Saudi Arabia.

​

Previously, he served as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Huhtamäki Oyj, M&A Manager at ArcelorMittal, and Vice President in the Oil & Gas team at Barclays Capital.

​

Beyond his professional career, Farid is one of the founders of Impact Lebanon, a non-profit organization focused on driving positive change.

​

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the American University of Beirut.
