Alexis Habib is a founding principal of Spinnaker Capital, and CEO of Spinnaker Capital Limited. He chairs the Global Investment Committee and is directly responsible for the management of the Spinnaker Global Emerging Markets Fund. He was a founder of the Emerging Markets division of Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI) in 1991, where he was managing director in charge of all trading activities from 1991-1999. Prior to joining CAI, he worked in investment banking division of Citibank in New York, where he was the head of Emerging Markets. He has also worked for Marine Midland Bank in New York and Paris, and for Unibanco in Brazil. He is a board member of Endeavour Lebanon, a board member of INSEAD and chair of the INSEAD Endowment Investment Committee and a board member of Balamand University. He has served on several other boards and advisory committees, including the Emerging Markets Trade Association and the Center for International Studies at MIT. He holds a Masters’ degree in Economics from Sorbonne University, Paris, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Dr Habib earned an MD from Université Saint Joseph in Beirut, an ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine) and a Fellowship in Nephrology in New York, a PhD from Imperial College, and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in London. She is currently working as a Consultant Nephrologist at Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes (France).

Farid is currently a Director of the Industrials and Mining Sector at the Public Investment Fund. Previously Head of M&A at Huhtamäki Oyj, M&A manager at ArcelorMittal and Vice President in the oil and gas team of Barclays Capital. Mr. Habib holds a BA from the American University of Beirut. He is a Lebanese and British citizen. Farid is one of the Founders of Impact Lebanon.
